Yes, but our digital print is mainly a support option for our letterpress wedding stationery. We have very good quality large format colour laser and inkjet printers but it’s not a service we typically offer unless specifically requested.
Letterpress is a low tech’ high skill printing method. Initially developed over 500yrs ago it’s now a highly stylised technique creating a print with a unique look and feel. Letterpress prints one colour at a time (spot colour), so each colour requires a separate pass through the press and each character or graphic shape is impressed into the print stock.
We work from print approval to despatch for production, typically business cards and correspondence cards are 10-15 working days, wedding stationery around 20 working days. We offer a “rush” service if you need your order in a hurry, though this is subject to availability and an additional charge.
We print nothing without our client’s instruction, which is always based on approval of a proof. Typically we send proofs electronically, but you can opt to have a paper proof sent by post if required. The proofs are not printed letterpress, as this would be prohibitively expensive, but digital representations.
We offer a full range of services and products, which includes a fully bespoke design and print service. We’re very happy to work to a brief and specification or from a blank sheet, we’ll provide whatever level of service or input our clients require.
