Do I need to send Save the Dates?

Save the Dates are a great way to set the tone of your wedding, and allow your guests that extra bit of time to make sure they are available for your wedding day. They’re particularly useful if you’re getting married overseas, at a busy time of year, or have guests travelling a distance. Early notice is a kindness, giving your guests ample time to make any necessary travel arrangements.

When should I send Save the Dates?

Save the Dates are typically sent between12 and 18 months prior to your wedding day. We’d recommend sooner rather than later, especially if you’re getting married in peak holidays periods such as half terms, bank holidays, Christmas, New Year etc. This ensures your guests don’t book holidays that overlap with your special day.
