Letterpress is a spot colour process, each colour is applied in a separate pass through the press. The inks used are translucent so are affected by the cardstock colour, so to obtain colour accurate results a white stock is required. We’d recommend choosing your Pantone colour reference from the printed Pantone swatch not on screen as it can vary considerably.
